With over fifteen years of business and legal experience in publicly traded corporations and large law firms, Angela Huber is a legal advisor on the topics of business and real estate, governance, contracts, and estate planning, as well as an outspoken champion of women in business. Her passion for community and helping others navigate the often complex legal waters is evident from the moment you meet her.

As a sole practitioner she advises individuals as well as small and mid-sized companies and other organizations.

As part of her wills and trusts practice, Ms. Huber helps individuals and families alike create and document a tailored estate plan to fit their needs. She especially promotes The Family Care Program, which is a program developed by Ms. Huber to address the unique planning needs of families with minor children, to make sure their kids are totally protected. She developed this program after dealing with the unexpected death of her husband while caring for their 3 babies, learning first-hand the importance of proper planning and the concerns of parents on issues such as choosing a guardian, how to best provide for long term expenses, and those related to blended families. Ms. Huber also represents clients with matters of Probate after the death of a loved one, representing estates and executors in local Probate court proceedings.

Since graduating from Northwestern School of Law in Chicago in 1995, she has held numerous general and corporate law in-house and law firm positions. In her most recent in-house counsel position as Associate Director, Global Compliance with Mead Johnson Nutrition Company, the manufacturer of Enfamil infant formula and other leading children’s nutrition products around the world, she experienced the broad challenges of providing legal advice and services to a company operating in a global environment, and creating compliant international organizations.

As a staff attorney in the prestigious international law firm of Sidley Austin LLP, Insurance and Financial Services group, Ms. Huber provided counsel to various institutions, including insurance companies, investment banks and registered and unregistered investment vehicles.

Ms. Huber’s extensive experience in counseling publicly traded companies was built primarily as in-house counsel for Hub International, an Insurance brokerage, Divine, Inc., an Internet technology company and Platinum Entertainment, an independent music company. There she built her vast knowledge base to advise on matters of compliance, corporate governance, mergers & acquisition and securities matters as well as entertainment and music law.

Ms. Huber is a speaker on various types of law and corporate governance, and is a mentor and promoter of the advancement of women in business. She is an advisory board member of Concert Hot Spot where she provides knowledge of the music industry and entertainment law in addition to advising on matters of corporate governance and responsibility. Ms. Huber is also a member of the Exchange Club of Naperville and its BNI (Business Networking International)finance committee, a charitable organization committed to helping the youth and families in our community. Ms. Huber is also Secretary an Treasurer of the BNI (Business Networking International) Naperville chapter.

Her love of sports and marriage in 2010 to Mike Huber, a Team Hitting Specialist and Confidence Coach, provides the landscape for her work as an attorney and manager of Hubie Magic, a baseball hitting instruction and confidence training company.

Ms. Huber received a J.D from Northwestern University School of Law in 1995 and a B.A. degree in Communications and Spanish from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1992.
